Modifying crystal reports

Menu path

System General Generate All reports

Introduction

This document provides the information on how you can modify reports that you have created. You can also modify default Exact reports. This menu path is available only when E-Report is available in your license.

First, select a report. To modify the report, click Change. When modifying an Exact report.

Here you can select whether you want to modify the original report or create a copy of the report. By creating a copy of the report, the original report would not be modified. When you select I want to change my own copy, the report will be saved under a new name and is only visible when you have selected the option User reports when you click the Reports button.

When you select I am sure I want to change the original copy, the original copy will be modified and saved with the same name. The report is visible only when you have selected the option Exact reports when you click the Reports button.

Now click OK. Crystal Reports will start.

Note: To find information on how to use Crystal Reports, press the F1 key or go to Help/Crystal Reports Help.

In Crystal Reports, you can adjust the reports and add fields. You can add a field at the menu path Insert/Field Object. You can select the fields and drag them to the desired place in the report.

It is not possible to adjust the selection screen that is shown when opening a report in Exact Globe.

After making the adjustments, you can save the report. The report can then be viewed at System General Generate All reports.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is based on product update 410. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
